How to write a bug report

A few important things to remember when writing a bug report:

  • Always clearly state what the issue is.
    1. Please do not just say “This is broken”.
    2. Include what you think the outcome should have been.

  • Always include a picture of the issue if possible.
    1. A before & after is always greatly appreciated, but not required.
    2. Do not include a picture of every step.

  • Please include ALL steps you took before the issue occurred.
    1. Even if you don’t think the step is related to the issue (ex. Opening friends list before entering queue).
    2. A good rule of thumb is if you have to select something, it’s a new step.

  • If the issue occurred in a match please include your opponent's username, deck you were using, and time the issue occurred.
    1. With time please put time zone.

  • If possible please try to recreate the issue.
    1. Report the issue regardless, but this helps us know how hard we may have to dig.
    2. If it is an In-Game issue use Vs AI.
    3. Please don’t go out of your way for this.


Ex. Issue

Issue: Naming a deck with just a Space stops me from renaming it.
Username: Dirtyredd
Time: 11:00am EST
Steps:
  1. From the Main Menu, open friends list and add friend.
  2. Open Collection.
  3. Close friends list.
  4. Create a new deck with Ra.
  5. Rename the deck with just a space.
  6. Attempt to rename the deck again.


Expected Result: I will always be able to rename a deck.

Comments: The deck still functions normally.
